I love this video so much, please watch repeatedly. When I was a kid and watched Pro Wrestling religiously, the ultimate warrior was pretty much everyone's favorite wrestler for a two year period. To be quite honest, I thought his interviews were the absolute best because he was so crazy that I actually believed what he was saying...even though I didn't know what he was saying.

That's why this video is so laughable because you have all these wrestling personalities bashing him because he didn't make sense. Well, they are right. Below I transcribed a few of his interviews and to be honest, it was pretty much impossible. Also, I realize these are run-on sentences but this is how I heard it:

"I was seeking council from a place long from here and I came here for one reason; to attack and keep coming, not to ask but just to give, not to want but just to send. Send the power of the warrior down everyone's throat in the WWF until your sick of it. Well, you're gonna get sick of it because this friek of nature right here is just beginning to swell and when I get big enough brother there ain't gonna be enough room for anyone else but me and all the other warriors floatin' through the veins and the power of the warrior!"

During the interviews, Mean Gene Okerlund says, " ...he would do a 2 minute standup and people would say, 'what the hell did he say?'" My response to Okerlund would be, "who cares?" I have not idea what that last rant of the warrior's means and I don't care now and I didn't care then." Why? Because the man was a genius. Is it really necessary to make sense in professional wrestling? Of course not. I never wanted him to make sense, I just knew that I wanted to be one of those little warriors floatin' through the veins and the power of the warrior.

Here is another gem:

"Dig your claws into my organs! Stretch into my tendons! Burry your anchors into my bones! For the power of the warrior will always prevail!"

Sargeant Slaughter said, "...he was out there in outer space...talking to Darth Vader." First of all, Sargeant Slaughter has the biggest chin in the world and should never be viewed close up. Next, Sargeant Slaughter is an idiot. The Ultimate Warrior was suppose to be from "parts unknown." So, theoretically, his interviews were making sense.

One more:

"Nightmares are the best part of my day! I love for your frustration! Combat is what I will be!"

Ric Flair's response: "I don't even remember any of his interviews but I do remember him being very jumbled. If I thought he was a great interview or said anything with merit, I would have remembered"

"Anything with merit??" Don't take yourself too seriously, Nature boy. Ric Flair has never and will never give an interview as powerful as The Warrior.

I have read that Warrior is now a motivational speaker. I'll bet his audience leaves the building with no clue what he was talking about BUT are still motivated...just unsure what to do with it.
